We need to move beyond guilt or blame, and get on with the practical tasks at hand.
— David Attenborough

I can’t begin to explain how aware I am that I am creating ‘stuff’ in a time where we all need to be buying and consuming less. This is why I want my business to be as environmentally friendly as I can make it. I am making changes every month and one step at a time I am finding alternatives to the plastic I use as I know this is likely the most harmful part of what I do.

In addition to this I am going to donate £1 for every print which is sold - and this includes sales online, at shows, exhibitions and shops. I don’t always get the breakdown of all the items sold so in that instance I will estimate the amount of prints that have been purchased. Each month I will choose a charity who are helping in some way to protect our natural world.

If you have a charity in mind you would like me to consider for future months please send me a message/email.

The first charity I have selected is Plastic Oceans. They are a UK based charity who work to reduce the amount of plastic being used and ending up in our rivers and oceans.

I will endeavour to update this chart as the month progresses although I may not get final figures until couple of weeks after the month has ended.
